Illustrating sound was quite a difficult task. We try not to draw tangible objects, but abstract ones. All of us were expected to draw abstractly. Yet do we really need to draw "abstractly" for sound? Cant we just illustrate in tangible objects? And think while you draw? I wasn''t trying to think sensibly but imagine you listen to a "hoo-hfoooo" sound, can't we imagine and think more than a wind blowing sound? is it angular or smooth? is it rounded and squared? I tried not to think or imagine when I listened to the sound, then I made some marks on the paper. I wasn't sure if I was doing right.
Illustrating text or a word was a fresh experience, especially when I have never ever loved reading poems. I dont always understand the emotions. Too deep. I drew a few things for the text. It was rather story-like.
