printing workshops

Working in the workshops was amazing.  I made my first etching print.  The prints weren’t very good but I really liked the metal plate itself. Honestly, it was not hard to produce a pretty image.  Whatever you draw on the plate, it looks amazing.  So if everyone can make an amazing print, how can artist or I make sure our images are better than non-artist?  I thought about this question throughout the whole process.   Maybe the difference between artist’s work and non-artist’s work is that we have a background, a reason or a meaning behind the work of art.  That makes our work splendid.
